Even though we couldn't be with our Kelley family this St Patrick's Day, we still carried on the Kelley family tradition in Perrysburg! We put on our finest green outfits (in Avery's case, teal had to do since we discovered that morning she did not own a single item of green clothing), toasted Great Grandpa Kelley with our green 7up, and ate green shamrock cookies. We even "jigged" around the living room to some Ruby Murray tunes... Kelley style (which is not actually jigging at all). This is one of my favorite family traditions that I'm so happy we get to pass on to our girls. Erich is a great sport every year and jumps right in on the Irish fun!
Norah's crazy curly red Irish hair
Proudly sporting our green (don't tell Avery she was pretty much wearing blue)
Making shamrock cookies while wearing Daddy's sweatshirt. Who knows where her clothes had gone at this point. Clothes never seem to stay on the little people of this house very long.
Wardrobe change to a snow white dress for the party and shamrock tattoos for everyone!
We know how to party
Norah even got in on the tattoo action (and also had a wardrobe change. so much for green!)
Even if our outfits didn't show it, the Irish spirit abounds in this house on March 17th each year. It's a great day for the Irish!
