Home Away From Home

How blessed are we that we have three places to call home?  Erich and I have no doubt that Perrysburg is where we are meant to be.  We love our home, our community, our church, our jobs, our sweet little town.  Even though we are both transplants to the area, we have been here long enough that we are firmly rooted in our life here... it feels like home.  But there's something about walking through the door of our parents' houses in Stow and Marysville, being greeted with hugs and smelling the familiar air... it feels like home.  We make an effort to go visit Nana and Papa and Grandma and Grandpa as often as possible and we always love our time with family.  The girls especially love the attention they get from all their grandparents and aunts and uncles. We made a few different trips throughout the summer months. Here are a few of our favorite pictures and memories...

We stopped in to visit Aunt Nikki at her classroom one day during a trip to Stow.  It was a hot and humid day (as you can tell from Avery's pink cheeks and crazy hair) and poor Aunt Nikki doesn't have air conditioning in her classroom!  It was fun to see where she works and enjoy the fun atmosphere she has created for her students.  If I were a kid, I'd want Miss Piland to be my teacher!

Norah saw this globe and shouted "ball!"... so a ball it became.

A trip to Marysville in the spring or summer is sure to include lots of swinging in their gorgeous gardens.  I can't think of a more peaceful place in all of Ohio.

They say "there's no place like home", but in our case... there is!
