Avery had her first haircut on Friday! I hadn't envisioned her getting her hair cut this soon... she's not even a year old. At first glance, she definitely didn't look like she was in need of a trim. If anything, I want her hair to grow longer so we can tread into "girly" territory with bows and baby ponytails and such. However, over the past couple of months her hair started growing out rather strangely and before too long our pretty little girl was sporting a baby mullet! It wasn't the most flattering look for her, so we decided it was time to call in an expert... Mackenzie has been cutting my hair for several years and has always done an incredible job. A couple of years ago when we both got married, Erich and I started hanging out with Mackenzie and her husband Dave. They have become cherished friends and we always enjoy an evening spent with the Bensch's. They keep us laughing and are two of the most genuine, generous people I have ever met. Thanks Dave and Mackenzie for joining us for our mullet party!

ReplyDeleteOkay so when you emailed me about the mullet, I totally about fell on the floor laughing, but didn't actually believe that she had a mullet. You really weren't kidding though. That was full on, teetering on rat tail status. Glad we got that taken care of. :)
