4th of July Fun!

What a great weekend we had! Erich, Avery, and I travelled to Stow to spend the 4th of July weekend with our Piland family. As always, we had a great time visiting with Nana, Papa, and Aunt Nikki. However, this weekend was extra special because Avery's Uncle Evan, Aunt Passa, and cousin Cara were in town from Texas. It was their first time meeting Avery and we had grand plans of getting many pictures of these two baby cousins together. We even got them matching outfits! Getting a 3 month old and a 1 year old to sit still and smile for a picture was much harder than we expected. Most of them turned out like this:

Or like this:

Believe it or not, this is the best picture we got of the two of them together. They aren't looking at the camera, but at least they aren't crying!

Saturday morning we walked down the street for a pancake breakfast and the annual Stow 4th of July parade. Thanks to a gift from cousin James (who is currently stationed in Germany), Avery had a very festive outfit to wear! (Mommy insisted on adding the pink bows to give it a feminine touch)

Here's another shot of our camo girl. She LOVED the swing at Nana and Papa's!

After the parade, we headed to a family cookout at Uncle Jerry and Aunt Pam's. It was great to see the extended family and show off our pretty girl. Avery changed into her party dress for the occasion.

Here are a few other pictures from the weekend. We had a great time and were sad to leave. It's always a blast spending time with our families. We can't wait to see Evan, Passa, and Cara again soon!
